William De Morgan was a revolutionary and brilliant potter of the Arts & Crafts period. Magpies was just one of his many fabulous designs for glazed ceramic tiles.
His factory at Merton Abbey was next to that of his close friend William Morris, with whom he collaborated on many projects for stained glass and furniture.
Beth Russell has adapted Magpies into two colourways, one with green and one with pink leaves. Please state which you require when ordering.
William De Morgans tiles and highly glazed pottery are now in the collections of museums all over the world.
